Demi Lovato has launched “The Mental Health Fund” as a sign of letting her fans and society know that she is completely supportive and understands those who are mentally suffering amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Talented actress and singer, Demi Lovato, recently announced her campaign launch on her Instagram this week captioning: “So many have been left alone with their thoughts, their anxieties, their abusers — and are struggling with the uncertainty of these times.”

“That is why I am helping to launch #TheMentalHealthFund to support organizations who are meeting the increased demand in crisis counseling due to COVID-19,” Demi continues.

In an interview with People Magazine, Lovato says that, “Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of strength. “Oftentimes our society tells us that if we ask for help, we are weak, but the strongest thing someone can do is take that first step in getting help, whatever shape or form that is,” she continues.

So far, the donations generated have already surpassed $2 million dollars, and Lovato expressed to her audience that, “You are not alone. Help is fast, free, and available 24/7.”

According to The Mental Health Fund, they will “aim to support the work of each organization as they grow to meet the increased demand of people in pain”.
