Get Ready for Sia’s Upcoming Movie by Listening to Her New Single ‘Together’
Released on May 20, the song is the first revealed of ten original songs written for the film Music.
The energetic, uplifting pop single wasn’t the only exciting premiere of the day, as Sia also debuted its accompanying music video. Filled with bright colors and rainbows, the clip features the return of her frequent collaborator, Maddie Ziegler, as well as Kate Hudson and Leslie Odom Jr.
This is the first official glimpse of Sia’s directorial debut, Music. Written by Sia and children’s writer Dallas Clayton, the film tells the story of Zu (played by Hudson) as she struggles with guardianship of her half-sister Music (played by Ziegler), a teenage girl on the autism spectrum.

The film is currently set to be released in 2020. “The movie has turned out amazing,” Hudson shared in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily. “It was honestly one of the greatest experiences. I look forward to people being able to get to see the movie. I think it’s going to be a special one.”
