Disney+ has announced that the film will be premiering on its streaming service this fall. The film is based on the memoir Fly a Little Higher by Laura Sobiech. Laura Sobiech is the main character, Zach’s, mother. The film was produced and directed by Justin Baldoni, who was also the director of Five Feet Apart.
The movie is centered around Zach, played by Fin Argus, who is a 17-year-old boy living with osteosarcoma, a very rare form of bone cancer. The story highlights the main events that happen over Zach’s senior year of high school surrounding his love life, his musical talent, and his relationships with friends and family. This movie will really get you motivated and give you the feels to get up and pursue your own dreams, as well as help you navigate your hardships.
Some of the notable stars in this movie are Sabrina Carpenter as Zach’s best friend, Sammy, Madison Iseman as Zach’s girlfriend, Amy, Thomas Everett Scott as Zach’s father, Rob, and Neve Campbell as Zach’s mother, Laura.
