Country Music Television is bringing together a star-studded cast of music moguls and celebrities for an uplifting celebration of Covid-19 workers on June 3rd.

Celebrate Our Heroes is a revision of CMT’s annual Artists of The Year special, which celebrates those making waves in the country music industry. The event has previously advocated important causes such as fundraising for Hurricane Harvey and will this year be a 2-hour virtual celebration of essential workers. Through words and music, celebs will honor those tirelessly seeing us through the Covid-19 pandemic: workers in healthcare, education, food, and infrastructure sectors, as well as first responders and the U.S. military.

Although the event is one of many to be moved online in lieu of the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s another reminder we can still celebrate what’s meaningful in style, with CMT’s Senior Vice President promising an “evening of unity” featuring “incredible performances, uplifting tributes and a salute to those risking their lives on the front lines of this crisis”.

There certainly seems to be plenty of joy in store as Scarlett Johannson and Olivia Munn were most recently added to the line-up. They’ll be joining the likes of Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Kelsea Ballerini, and many more celebs sure to liven up our Wednesday evening as they step up to the virtual stage next week.

So be sure to tune into Celebrate Our Heroes, airing Wednesday, June 3rd at 8 PM ET/PT. It will be airing on CMT, Paramount Network, TV Land, and Pop TV.
