Beatriz’s initiative came from Griffin Newman, an actor playing the role of a detective on the show Blue Bloods. Newman called upon every actor/actress who played or plays a cop to also donate.
Since the beginning of these protests, so many celebrities have come forward, willing to help activists. Their contribution and donations are inspiring and carry a strong message of hope and faith for a better future.
