Camila Mendes Has Joined the Protests in Los Angeles in Support of Black Lives Matter
Camila Mendes has joined the protests in Los Angeles to support Black Lives Matter.
The young Riverdale actress participated in Black Out Tuesday and since has shared her involvement in the cause through Instagram Lives. Posting multiple videos of protestors giving speeches, Mendes urged her fans to get involved whether it be by protesting or some other outlet.
The star followed up her call to action with a video from her time at the protest sharing her thoughts from the day. Quoting one of the speakers at the rally, Mendes shared that she was moved by his words, “he said it’s not enough to be an individual in today’s society.” Mendes asked her followers to absorb the meaning of the phrase as she did and further encouraged her followers to find and join organizations.
Camila Mendes is just one of many actresses who is taking a stand with the Black Lives Matter Movement right now. Follow their example by speaking out, voting, donating, supporting the movement, and relentlessly demanding change.
