June 22, Billboard announced Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine’s newest song “Trollz” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Their song was released on June 12 and instantly took over the internet. The two fan bases teamed up with streaming and buying parties, to ensure the song topped the chart.
The song has now become Minaj’s second number one on the chart, but it’s her first time debuting at number one which is difficult to get.
With this accomplishment, Minaj now joins Lauryn Hill as the only female rappers to debut at number one on the charts in history.
