Naomi Campbell’s ‘No Filter With Naomi’ Relaunches With BLM Special Episodes
Naomi Campbell begins the second season of her YouTube show, “No Filter with Naomi,” dedicating the beginning of the series to Black Lives Matter.
As the pandemic forced people around the globe to remain quarantined indoors, fashion icon Naomi Campbell launched a new series on her YouTube channel. “No Filter with Naomi” began with Campbell’s close friend, Cindy Crawford, and premiered in April of this year. Campbell has welcomed many guests and icons to the show, including Paris Hilton, Marc Jacobs, Serena and Venus Williams, Ashley Graham, and Karlie Kross.
In her more recent episodes, Campbell has expanded to include different industries to support political awareness and education. Launching her second season, Campbell welcomed Opal Tometi, co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement. During their discussion, Tometi discussed the history of Black Lives Matter, and the current strategies to continue the fight against racial injustice. “What we know we need right now is to resource and invest in Black communities,” Tometi responded to Campbell’s question of what we need to do, “If you show up, help to open the door for others.”
