Mariah Carey released a promotional video consisting of music video clips from some of her biggest hits on July 14 and fans were excited, to say the least.

Mariah Carey stole our hearts almost 30 years ago with her debut self-titled album, Mariah Carey. The album spawned four number-one hits: “Vision of Love,” “Love Takes Time,” “Someday,” and “I Don’t Wanna Cry.”

Carey has spent a record 82 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and has produced 19 number-one hits. It’s clear the songbird supreme has made her mark on the music industry and doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Earlier this week, Carey released a 29-second promotional video looking back at some of her musical accomplishments. On YouTube, the video was captioned with “Celebrate Mariah’s career anniversary with her, every Friday, starting 7/17/2020.”

After the release of the promotional video, Carey’s fanbase, the Lambs, spammed Twitter expressing their excitement for what she has in store. The Lambs have even started guessing as to what she will be releasing, with guesses ranging from rereleases of older music videos in HD quality to the release of new music.

Although we’re not entirely sure what Carey has up her sleeve, we do know it will be something to shake up the industry per usual. If you want to see what Carey plans on releasing, make sure to turn on her post notifications to see what she releases on Friday’s.
