Selena Gomez’s Cooking Show ‘Selena + Chef’ Returns to HBO for a Thanksgiving Special
Selenators got a delicious treat as Selena + Chef returned to HBO for a Thanksgiving special on November 19.
The Selena + Chef Thanksgiving special shows Gomez partnering up with Food Network star Aarti Sequeira to achieve the perfect Thanksgiving feast for her Friendsgiving celebration.
Selena Gomez surprised Selenators with the announcement of the holiday special on November 18 via Instagram, where she revealed that she had never cooked a turkey. The short teaser video also showed the singer making mashed potatoes and festive Thanksgiving food for her friends and family.
To stream the Selena + Chef holiday special, you’ll need an HBO subscription, which costs $14.99 per month. They also have a seven-day free trial available where you can enjoy all the benefits of a regular, paid subscription.

Gomez and the HBO team made a commitment to ensure that families currently struggling still have the possibility to enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving meal. They are donating $100,000 to Feeding America, a non-profit organization that serves as a nationwide network of food banks. It is the largest domestic hunger-relief organization.
Selena + Chef premiered its first season on August 13 and featured ten episodes. The socially distant cooking series shows Gomez learning how to prepare a variety of dishes from world-renowned chefs. In each episode, the singer-actress donates $10,000 to a food-related charity of the professional chef’s choosing. HBO has already renewed the unscripted cooking show for a second season.
