It’s a film that’s guaranteed to get you ready for one of the most exciting sports, gymnastics, at the Summer Olympics, held in Rio this year. Read on to find out more about this talented actress taking the screen by storm.
GLITTER: What’s the best part of playing your character Bree on Disney XD’s Lab Rats?
KELLI: I’ve been able to grow and transform her over the years. She’s always going to have a sassy side, but it’s matured and become hilariously sarcastic. I think I sometimes enjoy the emotional, character-driven scenes over the fight scenes.
GLITTER: What’s been one of your favorite episodes to film so far?
KELLI: We have an episode coming out very soon that has lots of high stakes and heavy drama. We go on one of our biggest missions yet in a VERY unusual setting. I don’t want to give it away, but let’s just say it took a lot of
green screen and special effects to help it come to life.
GLITTER: Can you tell us more about your MUSE line with The Style Club? What inspired this clothing line and your collaboration with The Style Club?
KELLI: I’ve always admired cool fashion ever since I was very young. I remember being a fourteen-year-old girl admiring what celebs were wearing and wishing I could look just as “high-fashion,” but not for thousands of dollars. I see girls around me (especially those who are fans of my show) and want to provide something similar… trendy, expensive-looking clothing but for a very affordable price. I incorporated much of my own style into the line when designing it, and included both dressy and casual versatile pieces. My excitement for the line is through the roof!
GLITTER: If you were able to create the “perfect boyfriend,” what would he be like?
KELLI: Tall, dark, and handsome. No, actually I really would just want a genuinely down-to-earth and charismatic guy. Someone who can hold a conversation… someone who’s intellectually stimulating… someone who isn’t afraid to laugh at themselves!
GLITTER: If you could collaborate with anyone musically who would it be and why?
KELLI: HAIM. They’re literally the coolest girl band ever, and they fall into the category of my favorite type of music; vintage 70’s-inspired pop/rock.
GLITTER: Is music something you’d like to keep pursuing?
KELLI: Absolutely. I’ve given it so much thought lately, and I really would love to take it seriously. Once I’m on hiatus from Lab Rats: Elite Force, I think I’ll venture into it.
GLITTER: We also know you love to dance. Do you have any favorite style of dance? Have you ever thought about dancing professionally?
KELLI: Contemporary is definitely my favorite. Dance is something I’m always going to love, and when I was younger, I always thought about becoming professional! Now that my acting career has taken off, taking dance classes in my free time is my favorite way to keep it a part of my life.
GLITTER: What is your favorite thing to do on your downtime?
KELLI: Honestly, I embrace the relaxation. I’m constantly busy in LA, so there’s nothing I love more than going to my parents’ house and spending time with my family (and kitty) all day.
GLITTER: What are some things your fans would be surprised to know about you?
KELLI: I’m probably one of the best drivers you will ever meet, even though I’m only 19. I take pride in that. Is that weird?
GLITTER: What do you have coming up in 2016 that you can tell us about?
KELLI: My films, One Night, and Raising the Bar will be released! Also, Lab Rats: Elite Force will be premiering on Disney XD.
GLITTER: How can fans follow you?
KELLI: I’m on several social media networks! You can find me on Twitter and Instagram with the username @kelliberglund and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/TheKelliBerglund
