iHeartRadio announced on April 7 that voting for the eighth annual 2021 iHeartAwards is officially open to fans for seven categories. Fans can vote for their favorite artists on Twitter or through the official iHeartRadio website. Eventually, voting will close on Wednesday, May 19 at 11:59 pm ET.

In order for votes to count, fans must use the appropriate hashtags for each category with every Tweet they post. If you vote through the iHeartRadio app, your vote counts two times the regular vote. Although only residents in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia can vote on iHeartRadio’s website, all users worldwide can post their votes through Twitter.

iHeartradio explained how to properly cast a vote. On their website, they stated, “An example of a valid social vote would be: I’m voting for #BlindingLights for #BestLyrics at the #iHeartAwards. RT to vote too!

The seven fan-voting categories are “Best Lyrics,” “Best Cover Song,” “TikTok Bop of the Year,” “Best Music Video,” “Best Fan Army,” “Social Star Award,” and “Favorite Music Video Choreography.” Some of the nominees included in these categories are Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Lizzo, BTS, Ariana Grande, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, and more. Listed on the iHeartRadio website is the full list of nominees.

If you want to see if your favorite artist won, you can watch the iHeartRadio Music Awards live on Thursday, May 27 at 8:00 pm ET on FOX.
