Billie Eilish Debuts New Book With Never-Before-Seen Photos
On Tuesday, May 11, 19-year-old pop sensation Billie Eilish announced that her debut photo book, Billie Eilish is now available for purchase. The book gives a glimpse into Eilish’s life through pictures, from birth until now, capturing moments throughout her childhood and musical progression.
The seven-time Grammy Award-winner has millions of fans worldwide, eager for a peek into her life. According to an article from Rolling Stone, Eilish stated, “I just thought as a fan, I would love to see a book by one of my favorite artists, with pictures of them from when they were born up until now, with captions from their own brain.” Each photo is accompanied by a personal caption from Eilish, sharing simple sentiments and insights.
Billie Eilish also features images of Eilish’s relationship with her family, including her parents and brother—fellow musician and co-creator—Finneas. The photos offer a personal perspective of special moments, including birthdays, holiday celebrations, and milestones through the years.
“The whole book is a crazy, amazing little scrapbook of my life,” Eilish stated. “It took so long and it was a ton of work, but it was really fun and very satisfying. I’m pleased with it. It’s super cute.”

The photos depict happy memories but also represent the more difficult moments of her life. The singer, now 19, said that while sorting through the pictures, there were some she had never seen—especially photos from the age of 15 because she was “miserable all the time.” Eilish explained, “It was a lot to go through all these pictures because some of them were from periods of my life I don’t want to be thinking about anymore or periods of my life that I miss and wish I could go back to.”

In addition to the book, Eilish and her parents recorded audio clips to accompany the transparent and vulnerable photo album. Each of them shared their recollection and described the photos in great detail. The conversations range from little moments of nostalgic storytelling to behind-the-scenes anecdotes.
The release of Billie Eilish comes just a couple of months ahead of Eilish’s second album, Happier Than Ever, which will drop this summer on July 30.
