On August 10, the Brazilian singer announced her latest co-creation with Sol de Janeiro via Instagram and Twitter and described the amount of love and hard work that went into its production. She highlights the ingredients she used and compares them to everything people love about summer.
“It feels fresh like a cold summer drink but hot like our confidence in Brazil,” she said. “Everything about the way I live life, edgy, energetic, magnetic, and sexy! ‘From me and Sol de Janeiro for you to Boldly Love-Yourself,” she continues.
This new perfume mist embodies the “Girl from Rio” vibe that makes women feel beautiful while embracing their culture. The announcement via Instagram received almost 200,000 likes, and even well-known individuals like Lele Pons and Paris Hilton commented on their love and support of the new product.
For just $20, women can purchase this new product on the Sol de Janeiro website and join others, choosing self-love and self-care. In addition, Anitta announced that 5% of the perfume sales go directly towards one of Rio’s charities, Pro Criança Cardíaca (Pro Children Heart), a nonprofit medical institution for low-income children and adolescents that need cardiac care.
