Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Are Expecting Their Second Baby
Sophie Turner and husband Joe Jonas are reportedly expecting their second child together. The news first hit In Touch on Tuesday, with several sources exclusively confirming that the couple is, indeed, expecting. Turner and Jonas’s reps have yet to comment on the matter, similar to how they handled Turner’s pregnancy the first time around. There was no confirmation of her first pregnancy until the couple’s reps released a statement announcing the birth of their daughter Willa in July 2020.

The Game of Thrones star and Jonas Brothers band member have been wanting to expand their family of three for quite some time. According to an exclusive Us Weekly source, the parents were already trying for a second baby just four months after Willa’s birth. “They are really excited to expand their family,” the source claimed, “Having the baby has made them really close and want to have a large family together.”
After wanting their Las Vegas wedding to remain a secret in 2019, it’s no surprise the 26-year-old actress and 32-year-old singer prefer keeping pregnancies private too. Even after the birth of their daughter in 2020, the pair has been adamant about protecting her from the public eye. While Turner has posted several baby bump throwbacks on her Instagram before, neither she nor Jonas plans on ever sharing photos of their child.
When paparazzi photos of the mother and daughter were leaked in May of 2021, Turner took to her Instagram story to address the issue. “The reason that I am not posting pictures of my daughter and making sure that we can avoid paparazzi at all costs is because I explicitly do not want those photos out there,” Turner stated, “She is my daughter. She did not ask for this life [or] to be photographed.”
It’s no secret celebrity pregnancies are noteworthy. However, remember to be mindful of boundaries and respect people’s privacy. The news of a second Turner/Jonas baby is exciting, but let’s give the parents the space they need and deserve.
