Zendaya Shines in Hot Barbie Pink at Valentino
In a head-to-toe Barbie-inspired outfit, Euphoria star Zendaya attended Valentino’s fall/winter 2022 runway show in Paris. While it’s hard to pull off a hot pink ensemble, Zendaya looked amazing.
On Sunday, the actress wore a hot pink double-breasted blazer with floral appliqués. The blazer was paired with hot pink straight pants, a matching shirt, and platform heels in the same shade that pulled the entire look together.
Zendaya rocked slicked-back medium-length hair, simple jewelry, and smokey eye makeup with the outfit. In October, Zendaya stated she had a very special connection to Valentino.
“I’ll tell you what the coolest thing is. When Pierpaolo comes up with these beautiful silhouettes for me to wear, he has my name stitched on a little tag inside. So all my custom Valentino pieces have a little ‘Zendaya’ on them,” shared the actress.
Zendaya has been the new face of Valentino since December 2021. Valentino released a new rose monochromatic collection featuring the actress in an all-pink outfit. Creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli explained that the 25-year-old was a “natural representative of his contemporary concept of romanticism.” According to Valentino’s Instagram, “Pink is the color of love, community, energy, and freedom.”
He continued, stating, “the reason why we chose Zendaya as the new face for Valentino is because she perfectly embodies and represents what Valentino is and stands for today. She is a powerful and fierce young woman that uses her talent and her work to express herself, her values, and her generation as well.”
