After its summer 2022 release, the remix of “Calm Down” by Rema featuring Selena Gomez is making a huge comeback, reaching #19 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The hit song is gaining traction around the world, bringing it higher up on the Billboard charts. Listeners are loving the remix, so much so it has garnered over 400 million Spotify streams.

“Calm Down” with Selena Gomez is Rema’s first song to hit the top 20 on Billboard’s Hot 100. For Selena, who has been in the music scene for a few more years, this is her 16th time in the top 20.

But the Hot 100 isn’t the only chart that the track appears on. Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global from February 17 to February 23 places “Calm Down” at #11. Better yet, the track leads Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs at #1.

Since dropping his first song in 2019, Rema has been no stranger to remixes. He has invited artists like Offset and Becky G to join his amazing tracks, and now Selena joins the list. In recent years Gomez has also been teaming up with other artists, such as Coldplay, Camilo, and more.

Rema initially released the solo version of “Calm Down” in February of last year, with the Selena remix following in August. Both versions are incredible, and the pair makes a great team. Solo or duo, Rema’s catchy and upbeat tune is a hit.

With the recent spike in listeners, it is likely that “Calm Down” will continue climbing up the charts. Making you want to get up and dance in the sun, it’s no surprise that this song is getting a ton of positive attention. Listen to “Calm Down” here, and watch the music video below.
