Heidi Klum is known for her unique Halloween costumes. This year, she transformed into a multi-person peacock for Halloween.

On Tuesday, Heidi Klum arrived at her highly anticipated annual Halloween party. This time, Klum entered with her team in a group costume. She dressed as a Peacock, requiring assistance from others to appear as the peacock’s tail and feathers. Klum wore a blue bodysuit with an elaborate headpiece and finely crafted beak while her team surrounded her.

Her inspiration for this year’s Halloween costume emerged from wanting multiple people involved, making it into one big thing. Going along with the peacock theme, her husband went as an egg. The model and Project Runway host states the costume has been in the works for a year. Klum invites celebrities each year to her party to celebrate together. By the next day, she’s already planning her next costume.

Klum is known for the dramatic lengths she takes for the holiday, from learning to walk on stilts to going through hours of prosthetics. Klum usually does her hair and makeup herself; however, she had a team to help her this year. Naming a few of her extraordinary looks, Klum has previously dressed up as a Cadaver, an old lady, and even Princess Fiona from Shrek

Her goal is to come up with costume ideas that no one would ever really do. Last year was the first year back from COVID-19, and she wanted to make a grand entrance. For her costume, she dressed up as a worm. The intense look, which revealed only Klum’s eyes and mouth, rendered her completely unrecognizable.

She has turned Halloween into an interactive way to communicate with people online. Klum has shared the creative process of her costumes, including how long it takes to put them on. In 2019, she shared her getting-ready process with the public at a display window in New York City. In 2020, Klum showed her love for the holiday by releasing a horror film to celebrate the spooky season. Klum is likely already planning her 2024 Halloween costume, and we cannot wait to see what she has in store.
