Raven-Symoné nodded to a possible Cheetah Girls reunion, in Entertainment Tonight. The 2003 film has a large fanbase, that has requested it for years.

“Another moment in culture that gave girl power, that gave fashion, that gave songs — [I’m] very blessed to be a part of that and can’t wait to see what the future holds with that,” Raven told ET.

Furthermore, Raven also revealed she has an upcoming project with another Cheetah Girl, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton. Fans realized that Raven has been signaling a reunion for a while now.

Cheetah Girls established a strong following that moves fans even today, due to its strong message of friendship and girl power through catchy songs that still sound relevant today. Moreover, the four main characters Galleria (Raven-Symoné), Chanel (Adrienne Bailon-Houghton), Aqua (Kiely Williams), and Dorinda (Sabrina Bryan) come from different backgrounds, and many young girls can see themselves as the Cheetah Girls.

In addition, Williams, Bryan, and Bailon-Houghton have shown their affection for the film and the characters, and an inclination to be in a reunion or revival of the film, in multiple interviews.

The first film, produced by Whitney Houston, is based in Manhattan, and it follows the girls trying to launch their career as a girl group. They have to battle their differences and an offer of a contract that would lead them to give up their originality. In the end, they overcome the problems, and their friendship, along with their music, is better than before.

Accordingly, the other two films of the trilogy follow the same format of the girls having to face their differences and getting good career proposals that would end up making them give up what makes them the Cheetah Girls. The second one is set in Spain, and the third and last one is in India (without Galleria).

Even though no reunion or remake is confirmed, fans reacted strongly on X and have even started to create theories and ideas. You can watch the Cheetah Girls trilogy on Disney+ and Raven’s interview with Entertainment Tonight below.
