The annual Forbes list showcasing the world’s richest people is officially out. Some celebrities include Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Magic Johnson, and George Lucas.

The first on the list of celebrities is the director of the Star Wars films, George Lucas. Most of his net worth comes from his production company, LucasFilm, which he sold to Disney in 2012. Through that transaction, he earned four billion dollars in cash and stock, bringing his net worth to 5.5 billion dollars. However, he first became a billionaire in 1997.

Furthermore, the list has three new additions: former basketball player Magic Johnson, Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, and Grammy award-winning singer Taylor Swift.

According to Forbes, Taylor Swift is the first musician to achieve billionaire status only with earnings from her music and performances. She officially became a billionaire in October 2023. From her most recent tour, The Eras Tour, Swift earned 190 million dollars post-tax. She landed the fourteenth place on the celebrity list with a net worth of 1.1 billion dollars.

Dick Wolf achieved the 13 place on the list, sharing the spot with Magic Johnson and LeBron James. All of them have a net worth of 1.2 billion dollars. Most of Wolf’s net worth comes from his over thirty-year-long career creating fan-favorite crime series.

On the other hand, Johnson received most of his net worth from businesses. His earnings come from his stakes in the life insurance provider EquiTrust, and he owns part of teams in the NFL, MLB, WNBA, and MLS.

As for Jay-Z, this is not his first time on the list. He is in fifth place this year, with a net worth of 2.5 billion dollars apart from Beyoncé‘s, his wife, half a billion dollars net worth. Most of his earnings come from two liquor companies, champagne brand Armand de Brignac and cognac label D’Ussé.

To close off Forbes’s list of celebrity billionaires, the top three include George Lucas in first, Steven Spielberg in second with a net worth of 4.8 billion dollars, and Michael Jordan in third with a net worth of 3.2 billion dollars. The other celebrities on the list include Oprah Winfrey in fourth, Kim Kardashian in sixth, Peter Jackson in seventh, Tyler Perry in eighth, Rihanna in ninth, and Tiger Woods in 10th.
