Heartbreak High to Return for Its Final Season
Netflix’s hit television series Heartbreak High has been confirmed for a third and final season.
As of May 9, Heartbreak High has confirmed via social media that the series will be returning for its third season. Season 2, which premiered in April this year, performed well, appearing in Netflix’s global top 5 series in the first two weeks of its release.
Thomas Weatherall, known for his role as Malakai in the season, appeared in a video on the series’s Instagram. The video was supposed to reveal what his character wrote to Amerie (another character in the season) in a letter. Fans have been itching to know the contents, so this post was a welcomed reveal.
However, Weatherall opened the piece of paper not to reveal a note, but writing that read “SZN 3 SLTS. The final year!” As he opened the letter, he stated “Oooh! One more year. We’re back,” expressing his excitement about the good news.
The series captioned the post by stating “Oi SLTs, don’t pack away your Lynx Africa or TNT just yet because Heartbreak High will return for a third and final season – roll out the celebratory chippies! #HeartbreakHigh.”
Fans are simultaneously ecstatic and upset about the news, taking to social media to share their thoughts.
