Super-Sized Season Three of ‘The Summer I Turned Pretty’

Prime Video

The Summer I Turned Pretty has been announced to return to Prime Video in 2025. Audiences will be receiving eleven episodes in season 3 next summer.

The first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty premiered in the Summer of 2022 and solidified itself as a binge-worthy success. The coming-of-age romance follows a young teenage girl, Isabel “Belly” Conklin, and her quest for love. It is also a heartfelt story about romantic, platonic, and familial love.

Season 2 premiered in July 2023. Ever since then, fans have been waiting to see what happens next in the love triangle between the three main characters: Belly, Jeremiah, and Conrad. However, fans have to wait a little longer than anticipated due to recent complications with The Writer’s Guild of America Strike. As a result, Season 3 of the series is being pushed back until the summer of 2025.

Season 1 had seven episodes, and Season 2 contained eight episodes. “Season Three will be a super-sized season with eleven episodes,” Creator and co-showrunner, Jenny Han revealed. Undoubtedly, the new season will be worth the wait for eleven episodes.

Moreover, this news was announced at Amazon’s recent event, Amazon Upfront 2024. In addition to Jenny Han being in attendance, Lola Tung, Gavin Casalegno, and Chris Briney, the lead actors of the series, were also in attendance.

Another enchanting aspect of the series is the fact that they have used Taylor Swift’s music in the episodes. For example, two of her songs, “August,” and “Back to December,” were featured in the trailer for Season two.

We can’t wait to see what will happen between Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah in season 3. While waiting, you can watch previous seasons on Prime Video. See you in Cousins Beach in the summer of 2025.
