Adele Reveals Desire to Have Baby Girl With Rich Paul
During her May 17 performance of her Las Vegas residency, Adele revealed that she wishes to have another child, this time a girl, with partner Rich Paul.
Adele has a case of baby fever. During her latest “Weekends with Adele” performance at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, the 16-time Grammy winner shared with the audience that she would like to have a daughter. The “Easy on Me” singer told the audience, “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy. I feel like she might be the person I love the most but also probably hate the most in the world.”

“She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she? With me as her mother and Rich her father, my god she’s gonna be a bossy little queen isn’t she”

She also mentioned her partner Rich Paul and his daughter, Reonna Simone Paul. “It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend,” Adele told the crowd. The songstress also revealed that Reonna is graduating from Clark Atlanta University, wrapping up her message with “So, I love you darling.”
The “Water Under the Bridge” singer was first spotted with Paul in July 2021 after attending the NBA finals. Two months later, Adele shared a pic of the two of them cozying up together, according to US Weekly. In a 2021 interview with CBS, the Emmy winner spoke about Paul, “[Rich is] just hilarious. Oh, he’s so funny, he’s hilarious, yeah. And very smart. It’s quite incredible watching him do what he does.”
In 2023, the “Rolling in the Deep” singer began referring to the sports agent as her husband. A source told US Weekly, “They aren’t married but they do call each other husband and wife and have been for a while now. Adele loved the security of it and how much he adores her. Marriage is really just a ceremony at this point. They already live and act as husband and wife.”
During her speech at The Hollywood Reporter‘s annual Women in Entertainment Gala in December 2023, Adele reflected on her first pregnancy in 2012. “I could only call it pandemonium because that’s how it felt to me,” she stated about her instant success with her second studio album, 21. She also explained that many would consider having a child at the peak of her career to be “career suicide.” Despite this, the British icon stuck to her guns.
She stated, “However, always one to go against the grain, it was there and then that I chose to reject the scarcity of success and the idea that you have to be constantly relevant to be successful. And that perhaps, just maybe, I could be a hit both on and off the stage.”
“Weekends with Adele” runs until mid-June, you can get tickets for it here.
