During this time, Normani has released a few singles and featured on multiple songs. Her previous hits, such as “Wild Side,” “Motivation” and her collaboration with Sam Smith on “Dancing with a Stranger,” have established her as more than capable of success as a solo artist following the disbandment of Fifth Harmony.
Normani officially announced DOPAMINE in February. Moreover, she recently released a short album trailer, which provides a glimpse into the sound and aesthetic of the project. The trailer has been well-received, adding to the buzz surrounding the album’s release.
The website for DOPAMINE is wheresthedamnalbum.com, the humorous nature of the website’s name reflects Normani’s engagement with her fanbase and her awareness of how eager they are for new music.
Other confirmed featured artists on her album include Gunna and James Blake. Normani released the singles “Candy Paint” and “1:59,” which features Gunna, ahead of the album. The complete track list for DOPAMINE has not been revealed yet, so additional song titles remain unknown.
While waiting for the full album and the collaboration between Normani and Brandy, fans can pre-save DOPAMINE on Spotify and pre-order it on Apple Music until its release here.
