The reunion comes shortly before the drama’s Los Angeles premiere, which will take place at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood on August 14. The event will showcase part one of the new season, with it premiering on Netflix the following day.
When the series last left off, viewers witnessed the wedding of Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) fall apart. Betrayed by Emily (Lily Collins), Alfie’s (Lucien Laviscount) worst fears have come to fruition. And, to make matters worse, Gabriel reveals that Camille is expecting.
The new season picks up with Emily more torn than ever. With her true feelings out in the open and a baby on the way, she must choose between the people she loves. Netflix describes, “Emily and Gabriel’s chemistry is undeniable as they work together towards a Michelin star, but two big secrets threaten to undo everything they’ve dreamed of.”
Meanwhile, Mindy (Ashley Park) and her band are preparing for Eurovision, but their goals are not without challenges. “When funds run dry, they’re forced to get thrifty,” a synopsis for the season explains.
Furthermore, back at Agence Grateau, more drama unfolds. “Sylvie is forced to confront a thorny dilemma from her past for the sake of her marriage, and the Agence Grateau team navigates personnel shakeups.”
Netflix will release part one on August 15, with part two following on September 12. In addition to creating the rom-com, Star writes and executive produces the series. Other executive producers include Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Alison Brown, and Robin Schiff.
Alongside the previously mentioned cast members, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu stars as Agence Grateau leader Sylvie Grateau, with Samuel Arnold and Bruno Gouery portraying Julien and Luc. Moreover, William Abadie appears onscreen once again as Maison Lavaux owner Antoine Lambert.
The cast shined as they made their first appearances in Los Angeles. Collins, Leroy-Beaulieu, and Arnold all rocked shades of brown, while Gouery and Bravo kept it cool in blue.
The Mirror Mirror and Three Men and a Cradle actresses both rocked deep v-necks, belts, and black stilettos.
Laviscount and Abadie opted for monochromatic looks, sporting all-white attire.
Truly standing out, Park appeared in a long, black coat, blouse, and skirt. The inside of the jacket was lined with gorgeous green fabric, which the actress paired with matching shoes.
Prior to arriving in the City of Angels, Collins kicked off the season’s global tour in Copenhagen. The star attended an exclusive Netflix Nordics x Vogue Scandinavia dinner as part of Copenhagen Fashion Week. With the premiere only moments away, it’s the beginning of an exciting era for fans of the series.
