Ariana Grande Releases New Live Performances of Eternal Sunshine
As Ariana Grande prepares her travels to Emerald City next month, she has curated several new live performances of songs from her album Eternal Sunshine.
After widespread praise and success for her seventh studio album, Ariana Grande is surprising her fans yet again. With the album’s first single “yes, and?” released almost a year ago, Eternal Sunshine has broken numerous records, accompanied by multiple remixes. This time around, there will not be any new faces to accompany a remix, but rather a live performance. Before she prepares her travels somewhere across the rainbow for Wicked, she has recorded seven live performances from the album.
The number seven has a deeper meaning beyond face value. The singer is performing seven songs to celebrate seven months of Eternal Sunshine. In addition, the album is also known as AG7, her seventh studio album, and each song will arrive one at a time this week. The schedule for each song is as follows:
intro (end of the world): October 1
eternal sunshine: October 2
don’t wanna break up again: October 3
supernatural: October 4
yes, and?: October 5
we can’t be friends: October 6
imperfect for you: October 7
Next, the compilation of live performances will be titled “Eternal Sunshine Sessions.” Her present live performances are reminiscent of her past ones for Positions, which Grande started amidst the pandemic in a private recording studio. Fast forward to 2024, and Grande is also performing with a live band for a more orchestral rendition of the songs.
The R.E.M. Beauty founder’s October is already off to an enchanting start. From the launch of R.E.M. Beauty’s Wicked collection and her Vanity Fair interview, the pop singer is gracing her fans with her angelic voice one more time before she meets them over the rainbow next month. But who knows, Grande could have additional tricks up her sleeve when she guest stars on Saturday Night Live on October 12.
