Lisa Confirms Blackpink Is Getting Ready for a New Era
In a recent Billboard interview, BLACKPINK’s Lisa confirmed what BLINKs have been eagerly speculating, a BLACKPINK comeback is on the horizon. The “Rockstar” artist revealed that BLACKPINK will reunite in early 2025.
The 27-year-old expressed her excitement about the group’s plans for next year. Earlier this year, YG Entertainment, the group’s label, teased a possible BLACKPINK comeback and tour in a YouTube video. While Lisa is optimistic about new music and projects, she was less certain about a tour, responding playfully, “That’s what they say?” YG Entertainment has yet to confirm if a tour is planned for the coming year.

Since concluding their Born Pink world tour, the BLACKPINK members have been focused on their solo ventures. Lisa released several singles, including “New Woman,” “Rockstar,” and “Lalisa,” and dropped her solo album Lalisa. She has also made appearances and performed at major events like the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and the Global Citizen Festival. Additionally, Lisa launched her own record label, Lloud, last year and recently starred in The White Lotus, marking significant achievements in her solo career.
The other BLACKPINK members have also pursued solo projects. Rosé is set to release her solo album Rosie, Jisoo has appeared in various Korean TV and film projects, and Jennie starred in The Weeknd’s The Idol and released her single “Mantra” in October, according to Billboard.
Lisa spoke warmly about the group’s support for one another, stating, “We want to support each other and say, ‘You did really well!’ Like, JENNIE and Rosie just released their own songs, and we’re on texts and FaceTime. They’re like family. I’m just so happy that they’re releasing something. This is what we all wanted to do, so I just wanted to say that I really do love their songs.”
When asked about BLACKPINK’s 2025 reunion, Lisa expressed her enthusiasm, stating simply, “I can’t wait.”
