Cassie Fine Shares Touching Family Photos Announcing Third Pregnancy
Cassie Fine (neé Ventura) is expanding her family once more: the Me & U hitmaker and model announced her third pregnancy with husband Alex Fine on Wednesday. In a black and white family shot showing the two with their current children, Frankie and Sunny, she captioned the post with a blue heart emoji, leading many to speculate the couple may be expecting their first boy.
Cassie, who married Fine in 2019 after meeting him in a Los Angeles gym, welcomed their first child, Frankie in December of that year. In an interview with Vogue, Cassie commented, “We decided to plan a wedding for this past summer after debating between getting married before or after the baby came.” The event was attended by fourteen of their closest family members and performed by Peter Berg, the director of the hit primetime drama Friday Night Lights.
Alex Fine, who stars in the hit Yellowstone prequel series 1883, made a separate post on Instagram with the caption, “Best gift I could ask for.”
In a separate post, photographer Jordan Keith captioned the photos with: “this is hands down one of thee most special series that i’ve had the honor of creating for with cassie & alex … a family near & dear to me that i am lucky to call my soul family.”
He continued, “may God continue to have his hand over all of you as you welcome a new angel into this world on this new chapter of your story … my @cassie my soul sister, you are a force of nature, a superhuman in every way & beyond … the strongest, most resilient & gracious souls … this baby is about to know a love so pure, so boundless, so extraordinary. i love you fine family.”
The post garnered the support and attention of several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Lauren London, and Chloe Bailey. Fans sent their congratulations as well, with many highlighting Cassie’s growth from surviving abuse.
The usually private singer made headlines in 2023 when she filed a federal lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, whom she was linked to for a decade in what she called a “cycle of abuse, violence, and sex trafficking.” After one day, a settlement was reached out of court. Since then, however, several lawsuits have been filed against Combs alleging similar acts of sexual assault and abuse over decades, among other alarming charges.
In 2024, Alex Fine made a statement after a disturbing video of assault to Cassie by Combs was made public, writing to both survivors and abusers with “You’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you’re so miserable with yourself that death would be considered a kindness.”
While the couple is usually private about their relationship, they have been known to share their dedication to each other and their growing family on social media. In a birthday post to her husband, Cassie wrote, “There’s literally nothing like spending this life with my 3 best friends. I have to pinch myself every day. I love you with the heart, to the moon & back for eternity.”
