The two actors previously worked together on the Freeform (formerly known as ABC Family) show Young and Hungry.

They also were on popular respective Disney Channel shows Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana. The show, currently untitled, is created by Jack Doglen (known for working on Diary of a Future President, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Kourtney Kang (Producer of How I Met Your Mother, Fresh Off The Boat), and Doug Mand (Dolittle, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend). This is the first collaboration between all three creators, though they’ve had overlapping projects before.

The show follows Emily Osment’s character, Chelsea. Chelsea is a supposed genius, as well as an Ivy-League School graduate. Despite this, Chelsea lacks “real-world-skills” and ends up living with her older sister, Claire, in Los Angeles, California.

Claire is bubbly and carefree, seemingly the opposite of Chelsea. Claire has a number of wacky roommates, including Gregg Sulkin’s character, Grant. Grant and Claire are “just friends” but previously dated. Grant is a romantic, curious character, who works as a physical trainer.

The show will have ten half-an-hour episodes to premiere on Netflix, with Pamela Fryman (One Day at A Time, Fraiser) as director. A release date is not yet available, but fans are already hyped for the series.
