While driving, Corden asked the Friends cast if he could listen to some music, and he unexpectedly turned on the Friends theme song. After hearing the first notes of the song, the cast sung and clapped along with delightful smiles. Punching her fists with excitement, Courteney Cox stated, “I’ve always wanted to do Carpool Karaoke.”

In the interview portion of the segment, Aniston opened up about her experience walking onto the set for the first time and explained how it felt “jarring.” The 52-year-old actress continued, “We didn’t expect it to hit us as hard as it hit us.” On the same topic, Schwimmer stated, “It was really meaningful and emotional to be on the set, and then to finally be in the same room together.”
