“So Ariana, I’m not sure if you’re aware, but we kind of have a tradition,” Clarkson begins as Grande joins the group in the woodland setting. “The new coach has to sing a song around the campfire,” John Legend explains.
In her dazzling minidress and matching sparkly heels, the Grammy-singer showcases her signature whistle notes while performing “Hopelessly Devoted to You.” Eventually, everyone chimes in entrancingly under a stary, purple-tinted night sky.
Before this first promo was released, Grande made sure to sneak some behind-the-scenes pictures for Arianators on Instagram. She writes in one of her captions: “it’s….. the most ridiculous and fun. i adore these humans so much and am already an emotional wreck worrying about saying goodbye to everyone the day of the finale and nothings even happened or aired yet. but yes ! tomorrow ! first promo. i love these people and this crew and my TEAM OH MY GOD and everything about this. i can’t say anything else. but… simply cannot wait til we get started.”
Season 21 of The Voice will premiere on September 20 on NBC. Until then, Ariana remains busy with a schedule of her own. Over the last few weeks, Grande shared a collection of live Vevo productions. Be sure to check out her most recent performance, “Positions,” from July 21.
