Starbucks Marks the Beginning of Fall With the New Apple Crisp Macchiato

Starbucks has brought back their fan-adored fall menu, stacked with cozy drinks and bakery items. For fall lovers, this beckons in chunky sweaters, Halloween decorations, and happier days. This year, however, it's not all about pumpkin spice. Starbucks has introduced the Apple Crisp Macchiato to the lineup, and many are saying it's better than the PSL and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

Starbucks has brought back their fan-adored fall menu, stacked with cozy drinks and bakery items. For fall lovers, this beckons in chunky sweaters, Halloween decorations, and happier days. This year, however, it’s not all about pumpkin spice. Starbucks has introduced the Apple Crisp Macchiato to the lineup, and many are saying it’s better than the PSL and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

The new Apple Crisp Macchiato is strong enough for your daily coffee fix and sweet enough for dessert. It has apple and brown sugar, combined with espresso and steamed milk and a caramelized-spiced apple drizzle. The finished result is a gooey apple pie flavor, which you can enjoy hot or iced.

Although the Apple Crisp Macchiato is stealing PSL’s spotlight, pumpkin still reigns supreme on the bakery menu. The pumpkin cream cheese muffin and the pumpkin scone are back to usher in the fall. Perhaps with the new macchiato’s success, Starbucks will add apple flavors to the menu next year.

Fall fanatics are living for the seasonal menu’s return, but one drink isn’t returning—The Salted Caramel Frappuccino. The frap blended mocha with toffee nut syrup for the base, and sugar, salt, and caramel topped the drink for a flavorful experience.

Now that the fall menu is available, you can stop by Starbucks or order in the app to try the Apple Crisp Macchiato.
