MARINA and Beach Bunny Release ‘I Love You But I Love Me More’ Remix
MARINA has joined forces with indie group Beach Bunny for a dreamy re-imagining of “I Love You But I Love Me More,” released on October 19. The bop originally comes from her critically-acclaimed new album Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land.
Before teaming up with MARINA, Beach Bunny’s Lili Trifilio was a big fan of the Welsh singer.
“When I was in high school, Marina changed everything,” says Trifilio. “I wouldn’t be doing music today if it wasn’t for her. She’s by far one of my biggest inspirations. It’s such an honor and privilege to be a part of this, especially on a song that hits so close to home.”
She also spread the love in an Instagram post announcing the new remix, saying, “It’s such an honor and privilege to be on a track with the artist that’s inspired me the most.”
Beach Bunny released their debut album Honeymoon in 2020 and have already amassed a following with standouts “Prom Queen” and “Cloud 9.” Fans of both MARINA and the indie band were ecstatic to learn about the collab.

Other hits on Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land include the feminist anthem “Man’s World” and “Purge The Poison,” a sort of societal critique. Almost ten years after her iconic album Electra Heart, which she released under her former stage name, Marina and the Diamonds, she continues to put out beautiful songs with lyrics that pack a punch.
Fans will be able to see both artists in person at their upcoming tours. Beach Bunny will play shows all over the US starting in November, while MARINA will do a US run in 2022.
