MARINA gives fans a show, presenting “Venus Fly Trap.” The first still of MARINA features her in a very vintage look. She is seen wearing an all-blue style complete with eyeshadow, a headband, and a dress. The next photo draws upon her movie-era look, as she draws upon the famous MGM intro mascot, Leo the Lion to present her short film. She sings, “I never quite fit in / To that Hollywood thing (Ah) / I didn’t play that game / For the money or the fame (Oh).”

As with her previous singles on the album, “Venus Fly Trap” seems to be another feminist anthem, as she sings, “Babe you’ll never stop me being me / I got the beauty, got the brains / Got the power, hold the reins.
