‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ Releases First Teaser
Downton Abbey fans are thrilled to finally get the first look at their newest film Downton Abbey: A New Era. The film released a mini-teaser on November 10.

Downton Abbey: A New Era is the second movie in the franchise; the first movie called Downton Abbey was released in 2019. These films are an extension of the widely popular six-season series Downton Abbey. Fans have waited long for the second film to come out and are excited to know more about the British drama.

The teaser is a mini-teaser only providing a fifteen-second clip. Although it is short, the footage does reveal what is to come for the film. The clip shows the Crawley family and the Downton staff preparing for a journey overseas. The clip also teases a wedding with Tom Branson (Allen Leech) and Lucy Smith (Tuppence Middleton) tying the knot.

The mini-teaser reveals that the original cast from Downton Abbey will be coming back to reprise their roles. The film stars will include Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Elizabeth McGovern and, Laura Charmichael.
