Netflix’s ‘Don’t Look Up’ Features A-List Stars and Asteroids
Although the movie advises you not to, you are most definitely going to want to “look up” showing times at your local theater for this star-studded dark comedy. Netflix was the first to announce the film with a 2-minute teaser clip featuring the star-studded cast.

The A-List film featuring Leonardo Dicaprio, Jennifer Lawerence, Rob Morgan, Jonah Hill, Meryl Streep, and many more will have you hooked until the very end. The film, directed by Stepbrothers and Anchorman creator Adam McKay, will be a satirical take on global panic or lack thereof if the world was placed in a state of emergency. The film can be seen as a dark satirical take on the global crisis regarding climate change.
Dicaprio and Lawrence, the film’s leads, will portray two low-level scientists discovering that a very dangerous asteroid is hurdling towards earth. Throughout the film they fail to receive a reaction from the society around them, especially from Meryl Streeps’ character, President Orleon.
As Dicaprio and Lawrence’s characters search for ways to spread the word about the asteroid, they find themselves not only searching for solutions, but receiving help along the way from Dr. Oglethorpe, portrayed by Joseph Morgan.
You can catch ‘Don’t Look Up‘ in select theaters on Friday, December 10. The film will also be available on streaming site Netflix on December 24 at 12 a.m. PST/ 3 a.m. EST.
