The British Fashion Awards were held on November 29 in London at the iconic Royal Albert Hall. Celebrities came together in style to honor the best in British fashion. The event honored 15 ‘Leaders of Change’ in three distinct categories: Environment, People, and Creativity. British Fashion also took a moment to honor the life and legacy of Virgil Abloh, who unexpectedly passed away the day before. It was undoubtedly a night to remember for lovers of the ever-changing fashion industry. Here are this year’s best dressed:

  1. Gabrielle Union-Wade

Gabrielle Union-Wade stole the show in a highlighter green Valentino Haute Couture gown. The stunning ensemble featured a chiffon cape, elevating the look. The dramatics did not end there; the actress opted for a larger-than-life high bun at the top of her head. She finishes the look off with jewelry and bright pink eyeshadow.

2. Rina Sawayama

The “Chosen Family” singer was a vision in full bloom in her blue-hued Richard Quinn gown. The singer’s custom ball gown effortlessly blended in with her gloves and matching clutch. She wore her hair in a classic sleek middle part. Sawayama finishes the stunning look with light makeup.

3. Dua Lipa

The “Future Nostalgia” hitmaker proved that less is more in her Maximilian Davis black dress. The singer looked elegant in her all-black look and opted for minimal Tiffany and Co. jewelry. Apart from the accessories, her Davis dress also contained black fabric that she wore as a choker. Her long, dark hair was parted in the middle with loose waves.

4. Kehlani

R&B singer Kehlani was a polka-dotted princess in her H&M dress. The singer wore her H&M polka-dot tulle dress made from recycled polyester. She is fearless with her style, and the dress effortlessly blends in with her colorful tattoos. Kehlani completes the look with a slick pony and Sterling King jewelry.

5. Priyanka Chopra-Jonas

Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra-Jonas was truly showstopping in her vibrant Richard Quinn floral jumpsuit. The colorful ensemble also featured a long, flowing cape complete with a multitude of floral prints. The actress elevates the look with an updo and Bulgari jewelry.

6. Winnie Harlow

Fashion model Winnie Harlow wowed in Moncler. Her piece consisted of three parts: a padded bandeau, a long skirt, and puffy sleeves with chic gloves underneath. As the colder weather is fastly approaching, her look is certainly appropriate. She elevates the monochromatic look by dripping in diamonds. The accessory that caught viewers’ attention was her snake necklace.

7. Jourdan Dunn

British Model Jourdan Dunn wowed audiences in her all-red Andrea Brocca dress. Brocca’s red dress has a dramatic shape, but Dunn was made to wear the piece. She wore Tiffany and Co. jewelry and pointy red shoes to the event. She accessories the look with a slick low ponytail.

The 2021 British Fashion Awards was a tremendous success. Celebrities came to honor the very best in the fashion industry, and no one came to disappoint. Be sure to follow The British Fashion Council on Instagram for some highlights.
