Since Britney Spears’ long awaited freedom from her conservatorship to her father after thirteen years of abuse and forced labor, Britney has been speaking out about the torture she faced through the hands of her father and other members of her family.

Most recently in a deleted Instagram post on Spears’ now independently ran account, she shares her experience being interviewed in 2003 by Diane Sawyer to which she was forced by her father, Jamie Spears. The interview had Spears “in shock” due to Sawyers’ “You’re in the wrong” approach, as shared on Spears’ Instagram. You can view the interview below:

Spears revealed to followers that she was left heartbroken after her very public breakup with Justin Timberlake and was forced to do the interview in her home. Spears shared in a post “Pretty lame of my dad and three men to show up at my door when I could hardly speak … two days later they put Diane Sawyer in my living room … they forced me to talk!”

Spears also shared that “I was a baby … I was almost 22 and didn’t understand … but I fucking know now!!! She said ‘a woman or a girl,” She wrote. “I would like to say now, ‘Ma’am I’m a catholic slut!!! You wanna join me at a mass and I can serve your husband my certificate on shopping for anonymous players?”

A fan posted a thread of Spears’ post after it was deleted:

Sawyer has yet to publicly comment on Spears’ statement.
