Girl in Red recently announced on social media that she would be releasing a new music video for her song “hornylovesickmess.” The music video will be directed by Euphoria star Hunter Schafer.

The Norwegian artist, whose real name is Marie Ulven, released her studio album If I Could Make It Go Quiet in 2021. “hornylovesickmess” is the fourth song in her album. Ulven made her album back in 2019 but had to put it on hold because of the pandemic.

In an interview with Hypebae, Ulven described her album as “explosive.” “It’s an explosive album with very strong feelings that I’ve had. I’ve been feeling a lot of weird s**t lately, so I go more in-depth on specific parts of my mental health, frustrations around love, and so on. It’s my 2019 life in an album, basically.”

The song “hornylovesickmess” begins with Ulven looking at herself on a billboard in Times Square and reflecting on how quickly her life has changed. The rhythmic song then describes the singer thinking about her love interest and missing him while on tour.

And now, Ulven will be releasing a new music video for the song. The Norwegian singer uploaded behind-the-scenes photos of the production with Schafer herself. We’re excited to see what the Euphoria star has to show. The newly released photos have caused exciting responses from fans all over the world.

Make sure to book your calendars for May 12 for the release of the new music video. Check out Marie Ulven’s Instagram for any news.
