From May 17 to 19, the three-day Hangout Fest consisted of music, sandy beaches, sunny days, and loving fans listening to their favorite performers. Many popular artists were in attendance, including David Kushner, Dasha, Megan Moroney, and Reneé Rapp.

On Instagram, Del Rey, the festival’s headliner, mentioned, “I’m just saying Alabama gonna be epic.” Fans were excited to see what she was planning during her performance on Friday night.

Del Rey sang sixteen of her hit songs, starting with a shortened version of “Fishtail,” “Without You,” and “West Coast.” She then brought Canadian rapper Tommy Genesis to sing “Peppers.” In addition, the singer-songwriter sang “Summer Time Sadness,” “Cherry,” “Pretty When You Cry,” “Ride,” and “Beautiful Things” with Benson Boone.

Fans were ecstatic when Del Rey brought Boone to sing his number-one hit song on stage. The performance was filled with lively energy between the two artists, enjoying one another’s presence. Boone was later seen doing a back flip across the stage. Thus, fans screamed out, and Del Rey laughed, yelling that she did not have insurance for his acts. The audience sang their hearts out to finish the song as the two harmonized. Fans filmed her songs throughout the night, thrilled as another artist was brought to the stage.

A few days after the event, Boone posted a photo collage of his night expressing, “I sang with the queen,” referring to Del Rey. Del Rey posted on her Instagram the same day, revealing, “Finally not singing this song alone in the car @bensonboone.” Soon after, they followed each other on Instagram.

Following “Born to Die,” “Bartender,” and “Chemtrails Over the Country Club,” Del Rey brought out Nessa Barrett, and they sang a duet of Barrett’s song “American Jesus.” Then, the Grammy-nominee performed “The Grants” and “Video Games” before ending her set with a cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” with Jelly Roll.
