Jennifer Lopez Shines on Stage in Beautiful Mônot Dress at MTV Movie & TV Awards
On Sunday, June 5, actress and singer Jennifer Lopez accepted the MTV Generation Award at this year’s MTV Movie & TV Awards in a black floor-length Mônot dress.
The stylish Mônot dress featured a curve-skimming skirt with hip cutouts and a leather corset with a plunging neckline and zip-up front. She completed the look with diamond accessories, a Jimmy Choo black clutch, black platforms from her DSW collection, and her emerald green engagement ring. Lopez’s hair was styled into bombshell waves by celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton; while her makeup was done by Mary Phillips, who used multiple Pat McGrath products to create Lopez’s smokey eye look.
On Sunday, the “Ain’t Your Mama” singer shared an Instagram reel of her showing off her look while blocking out the sun and posing for the cameras on the red carpet.

Before the award show, MTV announced that Lopez would receive this year’s Generation Award. The Generation Award is given to “beloved actors whose diverse contributions to both film and television have turned them into household names.” Past winners include Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne Johnson, and Reese Witherspoon.

The 52-year-old actress most recently starred in the movie Marry Me alongside Owen Wilson. Her next project Halftime, a documentary about her career and her experience performing at the 2019 Super Bowl, premiered on Netflix on June 14.
