Hulu Renews Only Murders in the Building for a New Season
Your favorite twisted trio is back to kill another day. It was recently announced that Hulu renewed the hit drama-comedy Only Murders in the Building for a third season.
The exciting news was revealed in a tweet from the series’s account: “My neighbors have a special message for you all: #OnlyMurdersInTheBuilding will return for Season 3! Now I just have to worry about who’s next… I hope it’s not me!”

Season one was the most-watched comedy series in Hulu Originals’ history and was an instant success amongst fans and critics alike. However, an unlikely cast, the core trio comprised of Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez, have worked together tremendously to make the series a standout.
The weekly episodes have led to serious social media traction, with fans discussing their thoughts throughout various Twitter threads. More importantly, the exceptional content of the series will most likely be awarded as it is predicted that OMITB will show up in multiple nomination categories for this year’s Emmys.

Clearly, the series is a favorite all across the board as Craig Erwich, President, Hulu Originals, and ABC Entertainment, called the dramedy “the true crown jewel of our slate.” Furthermore, Erwich stated, “Its appeal across generations, the intersection of humor and heart, and its truly original approach are a hallmark of and testament to Dan, John, Steve, Marty, and Selena’s work. We are grateful to be able to continue telling the stories of Charles, Oliver, and Mabel to viewers that have consistently shown us they crave more of this story.”

In season two, the trio tries to find the killer of President Bunny Folger but, of course, runs into complications. Now, they face their New York City neighbors as their community believes they were responsible for the killing.
