Hailey Bieber Shuts Down Rumors About Justin and Selena
In the latest episode of the hit podcast “Call Her Daddy,” Hailey Bieber finally speaks out about the rumors circling around her husband, Justin Bieber, and his ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
Alex Cooper, the host of the popular podcast “Call Her Daddy,” interviewed Hailey Bieber on a new episode that aired Wednesday. Cooper and Bieber chat about various topics: being in the public eye, fashion, and, most importantly, her marriage to Justin Bieber. Cooper didn’t hold back when asking Bieber hard-hitting questions about Selen Gomez.
“Were you ever with Justin romantically simultaneously with her?” Bieber pauses before responding, “No,” she continues, “He was not ever in a relationship ever at any point. I would never; it’s not my character to mess with someone’s relationship. I would just never do that. I was raised better than that.”

Listeners could tell Bieber was uncomfortable opening up about this topic, considering she had never talked about Justin’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez, before. Stating, “And it’s hard for me to talk about this because I don’t want to talk on either one of their behalf again because it was their relationship, and I honestly respect that very deeply, but I just know what was going on when we got back together.”
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber dated on and off for 8 years from 2010 to 2018. Justin and Hailey started dating shortly after, and in July 2018, the couple got engaged. They tied the knot at the courthouse in September, and an official ceremony was held in South Carolina about a year later. Justin documented the wedding on his YouTube channel.
Bieber and Justin have been married for over 4 years, yet fans are still rooting for Justin and Selena. These fans have been bullying Bieber on social media ever since the couple went public, “It still happens to this day. This is you’re talking about something that was two years ago now, almost three… But you just reach a point where you just, like, you have to just like ignore it and be like, okay, well… that’s kind of just the whole thought process of like it’s just hurtful, it’s hurtful, it’s bullying.” Bieber explained.

Cooper brings up the Met Gala in 2021, where Bieber reportedly got screamed at by Justin and Selena fans. Bieber recounts her experience, “So yes, I could hear everyone screaming and again, I think there’s a certain part of you that has a numbness of just like I was like, really surprised I could kind of hear, but I didn’t know if that’s what was really going on.”
Bieber finishes by expressing that these hardships have just made their marriage stronger. “And I think it made me trust him a lot because I’m like, there’s nothing I don’t know because you can tell when someone’s being shady, and then what? They dance around her like he’s had people like DM [him], and where will it go?” she explained.
