Hocus Pocus 3 and More Coming to Disney
The long-awaited production of Hocus Pocus 3 has fans on the edge of their seats after Sean Bailey, President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production, discussed the future projects coming to the network.
In a profile with The New York Times, the president of Walt Disney Pictures has announced that Hocus Pocus 3 is in the works. This movie follows the success of the recent sequel released in 2022. Hocus Pocus 2 garnered massive attention for the Disney+ platform and even broke streaming records.
The previous film saw the return of the Sanderson sisters, an iconic group of witches who stir up trouble wherever they go. The film also introduces their backstory, providing a more personal look at their lives before the events in the original Hocus Pocus.

Fans of the series are hoping for the return of beloved actresses Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. The production team also hopes for the return of Max and Allison from the original film. At the time of writing, no cast has been confirmed.
While no plot details have been released yet, viewers can expect the same levels of spook and spice that the Sanderson sisters are known for. Fans are having fun trying to divine the future of the franchise.

Along with the announcement of Hocus Pocus 3, Bailey revealed some more exciting news. For those that aren’t so interested in witchcraft, there’s more to see. Among the new films to be released is a live-action Snow White starring Rachel Zegler and Haunted Mansion starring Rosario Dawson and Tiffany Haddish. In addition, live-action versions of Hercules and Moana are also in the works.
