Will Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell be the next “It” couple?

After playing in theaters alongside Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, the first trailer debuted online Thursday.

Anyone But You features Sweeney and Powell as Bea and Ben, in the enemies-to-lovers trope. Two college rivals “reunite years after graduation for a destination wedding, [and] pretend to be a couple for their own personal reasons,” per the synopsis.

“Let’s just tell everyone we’re together… Could be kind of fun,” Sweeny’s character tells Powell’s character in the trailer.

Will Gluck and Ilana Wolper co-wrote the film. Gluck also served as the director. Anyone But You‘s cast additionally includes Alexandra Shipp, GaTa, Hadley Robinson, Michelle Hurd, Dermot Mulroney, Darren Barnet, and Rachel Griffiths.

Pop Crave uploaded the first poster of the film on X.

Do the Costars Have More Chemistry Offscreen?

Last April, the costars attended CinemaCon 2023 in Las Vegas to launch the beginning footage of the movie.

“We love seeing ourselves on the big screen,” Powell joked.

“Oh please, Top Gun,” Sweeney replied.

The Euphoria star was referring to Powell’s part in last year’s blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick opposite Tom Cruise and Miles Teller. The costars explain that they play “two people that hate each other.”

“Anyway, as you could probably guess, this movie’s about two people that hate each other. Sydney plays a character [who is] a real nightmare,” he told the audience at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Sweeney exclaimed that Powell’s character is a real “a–h—.”

“And what better place to put a nightmare and an a–h— than on the other side of the world in the most romantic setting imaginable?” Powell teased the film.

Anyone But You is in theaters on December 22.
