Post Malone released his ambitious new album, F-1 Trillion: Long Bed, on August 16. The sprawling release is Malone’s first formal foray into the country music world and features country greats, like Tim McGraw and Dolly Parton.

The album includes 27 songs, 9 of which are performed solo. The other tracks feature Tim McGraw, Hank Williams Jr., Morgan Wallen, Billy Strings, Blake Shelton, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Sierra Ferrell, Jelly Roll, ERNEST, HARDY, and Chris Stapleton. It’s an incredibly impressive collection of talent. The way these artists gathered behind Malone’s work is a testament to his prominent reputation.

The “Sunflower” singer expressed gratitude to everyone involved in the project, which has been in the works for a long time.

The highly anticipated album was preceded by a country cover-filled performance and several singles, including “M-E-X-I-C-O” featuring Billy Strings. The carousing, fun-loving ditty is reminiscent of past country hits in its storytelling and fast pace. It’s delightful to see Malone experiment vocally in a new genre, especially when he’s holding his own alongside bonafide country staples.

Another standout from the album is “Yours,” a heartfelt song written about the artist’s daughter getting married someday. Although she’s just two years old, the singer/songwriter can’t help but look ahead to everything her future holds, revealing that he’s written countless songs with her in mind. The “Better Now” performer went on to share that parenthood “changes your life in the best way ever.”

Girl dads everywhere have shared how touching and relatable the track feels.

Posty, as he’s endearingly known, is pulling out all the stops for his country era. For instance, he produced an electric music video to accompany his collaboration with Luke Combs, “Guy For That.”

We couldn’t be more excited for Post Malone and the country music scene, which seems to be entering a golden age. Stream the new album here.
