LE SSERAFIM has released a visually stunning, ’60s-inspired music video for “Come Over,” the third track from their latest EP, HOT.

“Come Over” Music Video

A collaboration with J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto from the British band Jungle, the track carries a nostalgic yet fresh energy.

Notably, “Come Over” is a favorite track among members Kazuha, Eunchae, Chaewon, and Yunjin.

The music video has surreal, striking visuals and a mod aesthetic. It opens with Sakura in a supermarket, discovering a can labeled “Come Over & Collaboration.”

Throughout the video, Android advertising is prominently featured, including an anagram that, when scanned by a phone, unscrambles to read “Open a new world.”

Toward the end, five of Android’s mascots, “The Bot,” appear moving along a checkout conveyor belt.

Other key scenes include a retro dining room setting where two versions of the group—one in color, the other in black-and-white—sit across from each other.

The group’s fashion choices reinforce the video’s retro atmosphere. In the indoor pool room sequence, they wear polka dots, stockings, knee-high socks, and Mary Jane shoes, embodying classic ’60s style.

Meanwhile, the neon dance scenes feature sleek, modernized clubwear reminiscent of ’70s and ’80s fashion, exclusively in black and white.

The choreography throughout the video is equally dynamic, channeling the energy of ’60s dance crazes with an upbeat and playful edge.

Lyrically, “Come Over” encourages listeners to embrace their emotions and live in the moment.

Lines like “No lying when it feels right” and “No hiding what it feels like” emphasize authenticity and self-expression.

As Eunchae stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the song’s core message is to “be true to the emotions at the moment” and to dance.

This sentiment is reinforced by the song’s infectious repetition of “So come over, come over and dance,” inviting listeners to let go and enjoy the moment.

Most Recent Release – HOT EP

Released on March 14, HOT concluded LE SSERAFIM’s “EASY, CRAZY, HOT” trilogy.

The three-part musical project began with EASY, released on February 19, 2024. “In EASY, we wanted to express our inner anxieties” Chaewon explained.

The narrative progressed with CRAZY, released on August 30, 2024. The EP captured the group diving headfirst into chaos and abandoning fear.

“In CRAZY,” Chaewon continued, “we decided not to succumb to those fears and just go crazy.”

The HOT EP features five tracks:

  • “Born Fire”
  • “HOT”
  • “Come Over”
  • “Ash”
  • “So Cynical (Badum)”

The “Born Fire” trailer, released back in February, built excitement for the EP’s explosive energy.

Thematically, HOT revolves around resilience and passion. “Love persevering – it is the embodiment of this album,” Yunjin expressed in a post on Weverse.

Eunchae further elaborated, stating, “This album is about having that commitment towards the thing that we love and giving our all regardless of the outcome.”

The End of One Era, the Start of Another

With its bold sound and captivating storytelling, HOT delivers a powerful conclusion to the “EASY, CRAZY, HOT” trilogy.

From the nostalgic yet modern energy of “Come Over” to the EP’s overarching themes of love and perseverance, HOT is a testament to the group’s growth and commitment to their craft.
