On Wednesday, August 26, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock reunited in glamorous, high-slit gowns for the European premiere of ‘Practical Magic 2’ at London’s Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, marking the first major red carpet of the witchy sequel’s press tour, and their most bewitching appearance yet.

Nearly three decades after the beloved 1998 cult classic first enchanted us, the two Oscar winners proved the magic is very much alive, turning to two of France’s most storied fashion houses to do it.

Kidman, 59, went ethereal in a custom Chanel gown by creative director Matthieu Blazy, a shimmering, figure-hugging strapless number covered in allover sequins with its own thigh-high slit. Cascading pearls and delicate gold chains draped along the neckline to create faux sleeves, a nod to her renewed role as a Chanel ambassador. The film is based on Alice Hoffman’s 2021 novel ‘The Book of Magic,’ a later installment in the same book series that inspired the original. And in a detail sure to delight longtime fans, the production rebuilt the iconic cliffside Victorian house, promising a nostalgic return to the world we fell in love with.
