Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes Collab for Amazing AMA Performance of New Single ‘Monster’
Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes gave a stunning dual performance for their new song, “Monster.”
At this year’s American Music Awards, also known as the AMAs, pop sensations Justin Bieber and Shawn Mendes gave fans an amazing performance of their new collab, “Monster.” Bieber also sang some a few of his latest hits.
Bieber started off the night by performing two hit songs he released this year, “Lonely” and “Holy.” Sporting a blue flannel, orange beanie, and baggy jeans, the singer gave fans a simple yet emotional performance.
During their performane of “Monster,” Mendes wore a simple brown jacket, white polo, and black pants. Lucky for fans, he let his curly locks flow. He started off the performance by playing the guitar and soloing his vocals, Bieber later jumping in with his own. The two harmonized perfectly together, giving a beautiful, heartfelt performance.
Justin Bieber is arguably one of the most well-known singers of the 2000s. The 26-year-old is famous for his past hits like “Baby,” “Sorry,” and “Let Me Love You.”. This year he also collaborated with Ariana Grande, producing “Stuck With U,” a fun song in light of the lockdown and global pandemic.
Shawn Mendes is a talented 22-year-old singer, most known for his songs “Senorita,” “Stitches,” and “Treat You Better.” Earlier this year, he released a new single, “Wonder,” which he also performed at this year’s AMAs.
This year, the AMA’s took place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, following COVID-19 public safety regulations. Due to the pandemic, there was no live audience, but they did have cut-outs of celebrities in the crowd.
Fans are gushing over their collaboration, and many have taken to Twitter to express their love for it.
