‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ Sets Summer Premiere Date
During its upfronts on May 18, Hulu announced that the television series adaptation of Nine Perfect Strangers, a New York Times bestselling novel from Leanne Moriarty, will premiere its first episode later this summer on August 18. Additionally, Hulu also released the first trailer for the eight-episode series last month.
The miniseries will center around Masha (played by Nicole Kidman), a director for a boutique health-and-wellness resort, and the nine perfect strangers leaving behind their stressful city lives. The resort guarantees that all who attend the 10-day retreat will experience total healing and transformation.

Nine Perfect Strangers is the second of Moriarty’s novels to be adapted for television audiences. Her novel, Big Little Lies, premiered on HBO, with Kidman, Kelley, Papandrea, and Saari working on the project.
Even though Nine Perfect Strangers will not premiere for a few months, fans can purchase the novel from MacMillan Publishers. Additionally, Moriarity’s Big Little Lies is available for streaming on HBO Max.
